Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the LUMO mobile application (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Use of the App
LUMO provides German vocabulary learning content, including word cards, exercises, and spaced repetition review tools. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial learning purposes.
2. Account
The App may create an anonymous account for you, or allow you to link your account using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account access.
3. Subscriptions
LUMO offers optional premium subscriptions ("LUMO Pro") that grant access to additional learning features and unlimited content. Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store in-app purchases and automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
4. Intellectual Property
All content in the App, including word cards, example sentences, designs, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by LUMO or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without prior written permission.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to ensure high-quality, accurate educational content, we do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LUMO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App.
7. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
