LUMO is free to download. Each level's first 10 modules, the Review Studio, and Article Studio practice for any word you've already learned are all free. Unlocking the remaining modules and Article Studio practice for words you haven't studied yet requires a subscription.
Do I need an internet connection to use LUMO?
You need an internet connection the first time you open the app to download your content. After that, LUMO works fully offline — study anywhere, even without a connection.
What German level does LUMO cover?
LUMO takes you from A1 to C1 based on the official CEFR framework, with vocabulary organized into structured, level-appropriate modules.
How does the Der/Die/Das Article Studio work?
